Blog: Nasia Nexus

Below are several posts from Nasia Nexus, my personal blog that I created while studying abroad in Korea in Spring 2023. This blog was designed to explore global perspectives, cultural experiences, reflections, communication, and language studies from a college student’s perspective. My posts have influenced fellow classmates to explore their study abroad options through hearing my stories and experiences. The blog also reflects my growing interest in global communication and cross-cultural engagement, which I plan to further develop through my internship this summer and my upcoming experience in Thailand next year.

Goal:
The goal of this project was to create a digital space to communicate ideas, share experiences, and engage audiences through thoughtful and culturally informed content.

My Role:
I independently developed and managed the blog, including writing original content, designing the layout, and organizing posts to create a cohesive and engaging user experience. I took and selected photographs of foods, places visited, and experiences I had, and selected the most engaging for posts.

Strategy:
I focused on digital storytelling and consistent branding to create a platform that reflects my personal voice and experiences while remaining relatable and engaging to a broad audience. Content was designed to highlight global perspectives and encourage reflection on cultural experiences.

Outcome:
This project demonstrates my ability to create and maintain a digital platform which included writing, photography, videos, and viewing analytics. I gained 50 followers and 200 views estimated on all my blog posts.
