“Support Starts With You” Campaign

For this group project, we created a public relations campaign at Western Carolina University to reduce stigma surrounding mental illness among first-year students. The goal was to increase awareness and provide faculty with tools to better support students’ well-being in the classroom.

My role focused on creating video content for social media, where I planned, filmed, and produced Instagram Reels featuring campus staff and RAs to share relatable and supportive messaging.

Appalachian Women’s Museum Videos

This semester-long group project, we partnered with the Appalachian Women’s Museum to support community engagement efforts. The goal was to increase awareness of the museum, highlight its cultural significance, and attract more visitors and donors.

My role focused on creating video content to showcase the museum’s impact and progress. I contributed by helping plan, film, and produce content that highlighted the museum’s history and role in the community to share on social media.

PRSSA 30TH ANNIVERSARY

In this group project, we supported the Public Relations Student Society of America 30th Anniversary campaign at Western Carolina University by creating promotional content for social media and emails. The goal was to increase awareness and attendance by engaging students, faculty, and alumni through a multi-channel approach.

My role involved planning, filming, and editing promotional videos and behind the scene. I also collaborated with group members and Mykala Anderson to support content distribution across social media platforms.

Nasia Nexus

For this project, I created Nasia Nexus, a personal blog developed during my study abroad experience in South Korea. The goal was to build a digital space to share cultural experiences, global perspectives, and reflections on communication and language while engaging a college audience.

My role was fully independent, as I developed and managed all aspects of the blog. I wrote original posts, designed the layout, organized content for a cohesive user experience, and captured and selected photographs to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.

Mommanians Newsletter

For this project, I created a promotional newsletter for Momma Nan’s Treats to showcase products, highlight customer reviews, and promote a seasonal discount. The goal was to increase customer interest, promote current offerings, and strengthen the brand’s identity through clear and engaging visual communication.

My role involved designing the full layout using Canva, organizing content from the business website, and developing messaging that aligned with the brand’s tone and target audience.

Event Flyers

In this role, I designed and supported educational and community-building events for students living in residential dorms at Western Carolina University. The goal was to increase event visibility within residence halls and encourage student participation in community activities.

My role focused on leading communication efforts and creating promotional materials. I developed event ideas, planned logistics, and designed flyers and digital graphics with clear, engaging visuals tailored to student audiences.
